# Transferring your domain

If you wish to transfer the ownership of your domain to another user, follow the steps below.

**Step 1.** Go to "My Domains". Next to the domain you want to transfer, click "Manage".

**Step 2.** Go to "Transfer". Enter the recipient address and click "Transfer Domain".

*Please note that this process is irreversible and will result in the loss of access to your domain.*

**Step 3.** Select the preferred transfer option.

**(a) Proceed Without Changes:**&#x20;

* All the information associated with your domain (i.e. social media links and cryptocurrency addresses under your Domain Profile) will be transferred with the domain to the recipient.
* You will need to approve and pay for the gas fee of the transfer only.

**(b) Clear Data and Proceed:**

* All the information associated with your domain will be cleared before transferring the domain to the recipient.
* You will need to approve and pay for the gas fee of (1) the data removal and (2) the transfer.

**Step 4.** Confirm the transaction approvals on your wallet. Once confirmed, you have successfully transferred the domain to the recipient address.
